# brian mulder

> software engineer & consultant. co-founder of tessur. sydney, australia.

i design and build software for clients. nuts about ai and agents.
previously Amazon Web Services, CBA, and Optus. available for projects,
contracts, consulting and ai workshops. also open to the right permanent
role with people i can learn from.

at tessur, i've built on-device assistant prototypes to help people and
their agents check actions against their context and priorities. built with
rust/tauri and typescript, using jev classifiers for local screening of
risky disclosures and user warnings.

i built windows appshots so coding agents could see and inspect the windows
apps i worked on.

in april 2026, i designed, ran and facilitated a four-hour ai-assisted
development workshop for devicie engineers, under contract through secure
measure. it covered scoping, execution, verification and review, with
demonstrations and written synthesis.

at optus, i was associate director in technical product management
(february 2023-september 2024), then engineering capability
(september 2024-november 2025). at jumo, i joined a small platform team
at a fintech built on heroku.
